THÉÂTRE MUSICAL "ROULE, TANGUE & VENT DEBOUT"

Description

A musical theatre production for all ages (8 and over), by the theatre company ‘Un tournesol sur Jupiter’.

An eccentric old aristocrat and gentle poet, Hector draws us into his daily life with humour and modesty. He murmurs, whispers and sings to us about his EXTRA-ordinary life, punctuated by unusual and powerful encounters. His memories unfold, embellished with elements of imaginary scenery; the public square gradually transforms into a marvellous world: his shelter becomes a circus big top, the rubbish bin turns into a merry-go-round, and he grows toffee apples on the bench… For Hector has more than one trick up his sleeve, just like Mary Poppins. Hector, a character brimming with humanity and beauty, tells us a universal story… that of a dream that brings joy and hope. Written and performed by Olivier Maraval / Adapted and directed by MarieLn Barreau / Musical arrangements by Frédéric Bry; set design by Chiko Manséri / Costumes and props by Françoise Hérault & Candice Santin
