RUCHERS DE NICOLAS
ONDES
Description
Les Ruchers de Nicolas invites you to discover authentic, traditional beekeeping in the Occitanie region, at the heart of a family-run business handed down through three generations. Nicolas welcomes you on site to visit the honey house, learn about the life of bees and share his passion through guided tastings. It's a chance to learn about the meticulous work of a beekeeper and the importance of respecting nature in the production of honey.
With almost 800 hives in Haute-Garonne, Tarn-et-Garonne, Ariège and Aude, the farm offers a wide range of honeys from unspoilt regions. Depending on the season, you can discover up to 12 different varieties, including spring, acacia, rosemary, chestnut and sunflower honeys. The mountain honey from the Pyrénées ariégeoises, which won a gold medal at the Concours Agricole de Paris 2025, is the perfect embodiment of the floral wealth and biodiversity of the wild areas where the bees gather. The honey house shop also sells natural gourmet products such as honey sweets and honey soaps. Visiting Les Ruchers de Nicolas means supporting committed local production and leaving with honeys of character, reflecting recognised beekeeping expertise.
