Meet Sébastien Taupiac, producer of Ail Violet and President of the Syndicat de défense de l'Ail Violet de Cadours.

Sébastien has been President of the Syndicat de défense de l'Ail Violet de Cadours since 2015. He himself produces garlic on his family farm, which is over 40 years old. He has worked hard to promote the label as a way of enhancing the value of a region and its know-how, guaranteeing consumers quality and producers an income. Today he offers garlic with the AOC/AOP Ail Violet de Cadours label. He will be delighted to welcome you to his farm and show you his work. If you're lucky, you might even be treated to an old-fashioned braiding demonstration. You can buy garlic, shallots and onions on the premises, packaged in plaits, loose or in trays. In 2023, the farm was awarded the HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) label, the highest of the three levels of environmental certification for farms.
